Welcome to RUnderground!

...the unassociated voice of Radford University

About Us
RUnderground is a Christian-based blogizine (blog/online magazine) run by current and former Radford University students.
What We Do
To properly touch all bases of student interest, RUnderground allows its writers to write about whatever they feel. These topics can range from faith-based, news-related, sports-related, technology-related, entertainment-related or some other topic they so choose.
Our Readership
Reader opinion is important to RUnderground. However, we request that comments be professional. RUnderground reserves the right to censor any comment for the following reasons: language, grammar, vulgarity or any reason where it is felt that a comment censoring is needed.

Stay Up-To-Date!
Unlike some magazines that publish one day every week, RUnderground publishes whenever a writer publishes a post. Since this means that posts may be up at anytime, feel free to bookmark us so that you stay up-to-date with the latest at RUnderground. Or, for those who want to receive updates via email, we are now offering an email subscription service provided by FeedBlitz.

Whew!
Tuesday, December 19, 2006
Hey folks, I would like to take this time to dispell a few rumors floating around regarding RUnderground. We are not shutting down. We have no intentions of shutting down and plan to continue to run for the forseeable future.

Although I didn't tell my writers to do so because they're free to post whenever they'd like, RUnderground basically took a break over the past few weeks in respect of exam studying for both our writers and our readers. Now that that obstacle is out of the way, we should be back to publishing as often as we were before. I personally intend to finish an article that was supposed to go up not too long ago but for some reason was not published.

I hope you all did well on exams this past week and are enjoying your Christmas Break so far and the best wishes from us here at RUnderground!

Yes, some of the writers were submitting to Whim. Some of them have no problem with that site. I imagine that would be because of the change in Whim's leadership from the spring to the fall.

As for this site, we weren't founded as a protest, we were founded to be an alternative option for people who got tired of reading or working for Whim, wanted a new place to check out and an assortment of other reasons.

As stated in my glance back at 2006, I occasionally submit photography to Whim that they use for their banners. The bridge between myself and those at the magazine isn't as large as it may seem.

    Insatiable curiosity compels me...

What effect do you think the change of Whim's leadership have on your writers? A change of leadership does not necessarily indicate a change in policy.

True, but there were some people around Whim (beyond the person/people I speak of) who couldn't stand Andrew but were much more open to working with you once he left.
