Welcome to RUnderground!

...the unassociated voice of Radford University

About Us
RUnderground is a Christian-based blogizine (blog/online magazine) run by current and former Radford University students.
What We Do
To properly touch all bases of student interest, RUnderground allows its writers to write about whatever they feel. These topics can range from faith-based, news-related, sports-related, technology-related, entertainment-related or some other topic they so choose.
Our Readership
Reader opinion is important to RUnderground. However, we request that comments be professional. RUnderground reserves the right to censor any comment for the following reasons: language, grammar, vulgarity or any reason where it is felt that a comment censoring is needed.
Disclaimer
The views expressed at this site reflect the views of the authors alone, and do not reflect the views or policies of those who write for RUnderground or Radford University, its students and its employees.
Stay Up-To-Date!
Unlike some magazines that publish one day every week, RUnderground publishes whenever a writer publishes a post. Since this means that posts may be up at anytime, feel free to bookmark us so that you stay up-to-date with the latest at RUnderground. Or, for those who want to receive updates via email, we are now offering an email subscription service provided by FeedBlitz.

Wow!
Friday, August 11, 2006
These three letters best describe the past summer that we have had here at RUnderground. What started as a summer journalistic endeavor between myself and Brian Erskine has turned into a ever-developing alternative Internet magazine for Radford University and the Radford community.

Over the course of the summer, we have expanded our staff and have received interest from other prospective writers as well. We also reached another milestone within the past day when we hit the 3/4 mark to 10,000 hits. That is simply amazing and I thank you, our dear readers, who have helped make that possible.

I would also like to take the time to welcome our newest writers, Misty Keene and Jordan Butler, to the staff here at RUnderground and I look forward to what they have to bring to our magazine.

In closing, we are now in the final breaths of summer before the fall semester begins anew at colleges across the nation. Now is the time to truly sit back and enjoy the last few days of freedom before heading back to the halls of knowledge once again. Maybe you are preparing to head out on an eleventh-hour trip to the beach or some other vacation location. Or perhaps you are just getting things ready to head back to campus while chilling back with friends. Wherever or whatever you are doing, we wish you the best in these last days before the education kick starts up again.

And once again, thanks for reading and remember to come back frequently to see what we're up to!
